In partnership with one another, the Program on International Financial Systems (PIFS) and Harvard Law School Executive Education (HLSEE) deliver an eight-week program at Harvard Law School for the Kuwait Capital Markets Authority. The educational program exposes fresh graduates to leading academics, policymakers, and financial industry representatives to provide the students with a high-level understanding of the key issues facing securities regulators and supervisors of financial institutions.
To deliver this program, PIFS and HLSEE work with professors from Harvard Law School, Harvard Business School, and other leading U.S. and foreign academic institutions. The program provides lectures and seminars on international financial regulation, corporate and securities law, principles of finances, and financial markets and institutions. In addition, PIFS works with public and private sector contacts to arrange for the students to visit with experts on-site at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, International Monetary Fund, NYSE, and more.
